Vision
Our vision at GMARK started with the premise that presentation authors and presenters around the world could be freed from the restrictions of serialised presentations.
Making engaging non-linear presentation materials that audiences can interact with is a communications art-form that when done well, yields real results that increase company profits. Delivering exciting, dynamic content that communicates complex ideas is exactly what ActivePresentation projects are all about and the reason the GMARK team wake up each morning.
Today, we supply a range of our own PowerPoint add-ins, custom software developments services, presentation design and makeover services and presenter training.
As a result, our vision has extended to encompass "All things PowerPoint" and we exist with a view to helping any individual, company or organisation to improve the way they present.
The Company
GMARK was formed in 2009 with the sole objective to provide customers with ActivePresentation services and products. The founder has over 20 years of marketing experience, most of which has been gained whilst working in the Telecommunications sector for companies such as NEC, Maxon, Wavecom and Sierra Wireless in a range of disciplines from electronic design to product marketing and corporate communications.
As a young company, we value creativity, passion, agility, innovation and moving at high speed to help our customers.
Why ActivePresentation?
The answer is remarkably simple. Whilst working in the telecoms sector, Jamie noticed that the widely dispersed sales force comprising of employees and distributors were "left to their own devices" to build ad-hoc presentations which often lead to a situation where incorrect or incomplete messages were passed to customers and prospects.
The only way to get a consistent message delivered to the market was to provide the sales team with a unique tool that allowed them to take everything with them but present only what was of interest to each client visited and it was this that gave birth to ActivePresentation.com
It soon became apparent that we could offer much more than a single product so we started work on a custom software development offering and on to two new software products; SwiftPrez and MapPrez in addition to a range of country maps for PowerPoint. These lead us to develop the GMARK site as a platform for all of our software, content and training products.
